Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

How many people are needed to operate the NuWave System?

Two (or fewer) people with no technical expertise can operate the system after receiving training from NuWave’s team. Our specialized food scientists will analyze your needs and will create the algorithms/recipes needed to properly dry your product and provide these as menu-driven options.

How much does it cost?

We can talk pricing after we’ve executed a mutual NDA between our companies.

I need your service. When can I get started?

Fill out the Contact Form and we will back to you shortly to discuss what solution is best for your company.

Is it a batch system?
The Atlas and Chimera machines are batch systems. The Kraken 60, Kraken 90 and Titan are continuous systems used for larger volume operations.
What is the through-put of a NuWave System?
The through-put depends on a number of factors like the type of product, density, and the desired moisture level of the end product. Our team will be able to analyze your needs and give you your best options for maximum through-put.
How many hours can the NuWave System be operated for continuous processing?

The NuWave System can run for up to 24 hours per day. An automated Clean-in-Place (CIP) cleaning cycle is required between runs.

What is meant by odor mitigation?

NuWave provides a closed loop system that captures released vapor and eliminates the unpleasant odors. The subtle smells released by RLTD could be more correctly called (low-intensity) fragrances than odors.
